Recent Form

The Toffee’s have had a torrid time this season with this being by far an away their worst Premier League campaign in history. After 29 games last season they were a huge 22 points better off than they are now at this point, and Frank Lampard has a serious job on his hands here.

Their loss to Burnley meant that they are now under serious threat of relegation with nine games to go, with the Clarets sitting just the one point behind them having played the same amount of games.

Manchester United haven’t had the best year by their standards, especially when considering the quality of players at their disposal. Before the season started, that the Red Devils were highly tipped for a top four spot and maybe even to mount a title challenge, but now we are thirty games into the season and they look very unlikely to get top four and will likely have to settle for the Europa League or Conference League.

What's so bizarre about Everton’s season is the fact that they won four out of their first six games and then have only gone on to win three of their subsequent 23 matches, this means that they gained more than half their points (13 of 25) in the first six fixtures of the season, highlighting just how poor they’ve been recently and it’s hard to get behind them getting any kind of result when in this vein of form.

Man United To Win

Despite only losing two PL games over the course of Ralf Rangnick’s PL career, Manchester United have failed to live up to the standards set for them by the fans.

The Red Devils have struggled with consistency this year with them not being able to string four or more wins together at one point during the season, every other team around them has achieved this and that lack of consistency has been a big part of the reason that Utd have failed to live up to expectations.

We think Man Utd are fantastic value to get the result here, though. Everton haven’t showed any reason why they would get a result but they did manage to get the better of Arsenal at Goodison Park back in December, so can’t be ruled out entirely.

Everton still have numerous injury concerns whilst Cavani is the only player who won’t feature for the side in Red. Everton have a record of W3-D1-L7 in the last 11 games they have played at Goodison Park, though Arsenal are the only top half side they’ve managed to beat in that run, while two of those three victories came via last gasp winners, which they can’t entirely rely on here.

PREDICTION:

MAN UNITED TO WIN
