Chelsea v Arsenal Betting Tips – Premier League Week 36

Chelsea continue their bid to finish in the top four of the Premier League table when they welcome Arsenal in the Wednesday night London Derby. Their 2-1 win over Man City last time out leaves them a point clear of fourth placed Leicester, and with the FA Cup Final against the Foxes looming this weekend, Thomas Tuchel will be expecting his to keep the winning momentum going. Tipsters Form Labs guide you to where the value might lie with their betting tips for the game, while we have additional value with our boosted odds which you can claim below.

It just gets better and better for Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea as they managed a last-minute winner to come from a goal down and beat Man City 2-1.

That result sees them in prime position to take one of the two remaining Champions League spots, and they’ll need a maximum of four points from their remaining three games to do just that.

Arsenal got back to winning ways after a bitterly disappointing display in the Europa League semi-final against Unai Emery’s Villarreal, though beating West Brom to confine them to Championship football next season is nothing to write home about.

The Gunners have gone a balanced W4-D4-L4 across all competitions now as consistency continues to be the issue for Mikel Arteta’s side, not completing more than back-to-back wins since they last beat the baggies back in January.

That’s not to say there’s not quality in this side, as Nicolas Pepe and Willian’s goals demonstrated at the weekend, and if they were to recreate some of those moments of brilliance, they could be in with a shout here.

However, Arsenal’s downfall this season has been this sort of fixture, going just W2-D2-L6 away to the current top 12 in the table, while their record away to the traditional ‘big six’ is shocking as they’ve gone just W1-D10-L20 in such games since January 2015.

Chelsea To Win And Under 2.5 Goals

Chelsea have become a side that are simply very difficult to break down under Tuchel, as even Man City struggled for opportunities as the game wore on at the weekend.

They’ve gone W17-D6-L2 under the German’s tutelage, beating all of Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, West Ham and Everton in the league as well as both Madrid clubs in Europe en route to the final, so they’ve certainly take some beating here.

The main reason for that upturn in results has been their defensive resolve as they’ve managed 18 clean sheets in those 25 matches, including in five of six games against middle-third sides so another clean sheet is certainly on the cards here, even if they were to rotate slightly with one eye on the FA cup final coming up this weekend.

We’d be surprised if the hosts ran riot though as they’ve only scored more than twice on one occasion under Tuchel, so the match result and unders poses good value.

Chelsea To Win 2-0

Arsenal don’t have the best record at Stamford Bridge either in recent years, losing six of eight winless matches there since October 2011, failing to score in half of those games, while Chelsea’s home record this season gives some weight to the correct scoreline too.

Indeed, each of Chelsea’s seven home wins under Tuchel have all come by the same 2-0 scoreline, and with the Gunners conceding 12 times in seven away trips to sides currently above them, that scoreline certainly isn’t inconceivable and is worth a small flutter.

Chelsea To Win And Under 2.5 Goals At 5/2

0.5pts: Chelsea To Win 2-0 correct score At 13/2
