Wolves v Fulham Preview And Betting Tips

Bottom of the Premier League table and dumped out of the EFL Cup 3-0 by Brentford midweek, things couldn’t be going any worse for Fulham and one expects another loss this weekend to Wolves could spell the end for Scott Parker. Wolves themselves don’t come into the game in the best of form after losing 4-0 to West Ham, however they will be looking to this game for a change in fortunes. Tipsters Form Labs guide you to where the value might lie with their betting preview and tips for the game.

Recent Form

Fulham have been the league’s whipping boys so far, losing all three matches so far while confidence will be low having succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Brentford in the Cup on Thursday night.

The signing of Ademola Lookman on a season long loan gives Scott Parker more attacking options, though he’s unlikely to feature from the off here and they’ll be largely unchanged from their heavy defeat to Aston Villa.

Wolves suffered a substantial defeat of their own as they went down 4-0 to West Ham on Monday night. They looked bereft of ideas as Declan Rice and Thomas Soucek dominated the middle of the park, and they could struggle again here against the dominant presence of Andre Zambo Anguissa.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have now lost three on the bounce across all competitions, so the exits of Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota may be having more of an effect on proceedings than expected. They’ve also lost both home games so far this season, so this may not be as straightforward as first thought.

Both Teams To Score

What is going in their hosts’ favour is their record against promoted sides, winning four and drawing one at home since their return to the top flight, with the only draw coming against an impressive Sheffield United last year.

They conceded just once across those four wins, showing their defensive dominance against the weaker sides in the league, though with seven goals conceded across their last two outings we’re far from comfortable backing the clean sheet.

Only West Brom (11) have conceded more goals than Fulham (10) and Wolves (7) this season, and there’s no inclination that either defence will stand up and be counted here with some strong attacking talent on display.

Aleksandar Mitrovic carries an obvious threat for the visitors, and the more balls they can get into him in dangerous areas the better their output will be, while Raul Jimenez is the dangerman for the hosts. Both have scored twice already this season and we’d expect both to cause more trouble for defences this weekend.

The last four meetings between the two sides have seen ‘Unders’ come through, though with the amount of goals flying in this season and with fragile defences in action here that looks far too short, and the both teams to score market looks to hold far better value all things considered.

Both Teams To Score At 6/5
