However, the London-based club have also scored in all but two of their 13 home games this season, misfiring against Liverpool and Man City, as five of their last six defeats here have seen them find the net.

Although the Saints have hardly been goal-shy, they’re not accustomed to ripping teams apart either and they’ve only once chalked up more than two goals from their 27 matches to date.
They’ve scored exactly twice in six of their last eight victories, with three of these finishing 2-1, as they averaged exactly two per game across these victories.
If the Hammers are to net in defeat, it’s unlikely that Southampton will find the firepower to do it with a great number of goals and the correct score is well worth a punt.
