Recent Form

Palace suffered their first defeat in eight last time out against Villa, seeing them drop out of the top half of the table, though they can still be pleased with their performances this term under Patrick Vieira.

Victories have been hard to come by however, with the Eagles drawing more games (seven) than any other team this season, while Leeds aren’t far behind in that regard as one of four sides to have drawn six.

The top half of the table have produced a combined 28 stalemates this season, compared to a much larger 42 from the bottom half teams, with all six teams to have drawn five or more games residing outside the top eight.

Only one of Leeds’ past 11 outings have been settled one way or the other by more than a single goal, with five of these ending in stalemates, while five of Palace’s last eight appearances have ended in a draw.

Leeds And Palace To Draw

Leeds have won just once across their past seven outings in all competitions, with that coming over second-from-bottom Norwich, though all three defeats over this spell were inflicted on the road away to Southampton, Arsenal and Tottenham.

On home turf, Leeds have only lost clashes with Liverpool and West Ham this season. However, excluding a comfortable victory over League One side Crewe Alexandra, they’ve draw games with Everton, Wolves and Leicester at Elland Road, as well as beating another bottom-six outfit in Watford.

Kalvin Phillips was taken off at half time versus Brighton in Leeds’ last appearance, though it would appear the decision was tactical rather than a result of injury, and the England midfielder will start here.

Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t have any new injury concerns, With Robin Koch, Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford still absent for now, though the latter two will be available soon.

Palace are without vice-captain James McArthur and centre-back Joachim Andersen again, with both sidelined by hamstring issues, as well as long-term absentee Nathan Ferguson.

Luka Milivojevic and James Tomkins are set to deputize again, though there’s better news as Eberechi Eze could be in line to return to the starting line-up after playing the final half hour against Villa.

PREDICTION:

LEEDS AND PALACE TO DRAW
