Chelsea v Manchester United Betting Tips - Premier League Week 26

Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon in one of the stand-out games of week 26 of the Premier League. Thomas Tuchel has yet to lose a game since he took over at Chelsea with one of his best results coming midweek in the Champions League when they edged La Liga table toppers Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the first leg. Man United themselves are in top form and have booked their passage to the last 16 of the Europa League, setting up Sunday’s encounter nicely. Tipsters Form Labs guide you to where the value might lie with their betting tips for the game, while we have plenty of additional value with our weekend boosted odds which you can claim below.

Recent Form

Chelsea would have taken huge confidence from their victory against Atletico Madrid in Bucharest to take Thomas Tuchel’s record in charge to six wins from eight unbeaten games.

That was the first of a very hard run of fixtures for the Blues, with the next fixture coming against a Man United side looking to maintain their unbeaten way record this season.

This is the first time that Man United will go into a game against Chelsea above them in the table in over three years, though they’ve remained unbeaten across those games, winning three and drawing three of their last six encounters, with the Blues’ only win in that time coming last season in the FA Cup.

A lot has been said about Chelsea’s inability to get results against the better sides in the league this season, with their only win against a current top-seven side coming against West Ham at home.

However, a lot of that criticism came under the Frank Lampard reign, and while Tuchel has only faced one top-half side so far, he managed three points in that game against Tottenham, while their victory in Europe midweek may just be a sign that this side can, in fact, pick up points against the bigger sides.

They’ve lost just twice on home soil this season, which came against a rampant Man City side and against Liverpool with both goals in that game coming after they went down to 10-men, so there’s certainly an argument for them to get a result here.

Chelsea And Man United To Draw

The Reds Devils have now gone over a year since they last lost on the road, with that defeat coming at Anfield in the midst of Liverpool’s 68 match unbeaten home run.

While that run will have to come to an end at some point, that’s not exactly the best reason to get behind the home win as there’s little to suggest it will end here.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have, however, been less ruthless away from home of late, winning just two of their last six matches, which came narrowly over bottom-six sides Burnley and West Brom, while they’ve drawn against all of Leicester, Liverpool, and Arsenal in that run.

Under 2.5 Goals, 0-0 Draw

We’d expect this to be a tight and low scoring game despite the obvious attacking talent on display. United have seen just 1.2 goals per game across their last five away fixtures, while the Blues have seen ‘Unders’ land in all but one of their games under new management across all competitions.

We’d also be inclined to have a flutter on the goalless draw at the prices, considering United have seen that exact scoreline against other ‘Big Six’ sides Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal this season, as well as in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford this season.

Under 2.5 Goals At 5/6

0.5pts: Correct Score 0-0 At 9/1

Chelsea And Man United To Draw At 23/10
