Leeds United v Newcastle United

Leeds United will play host to Newcastle United in a potentially pivotal Premier League contest involving two teams at opposite ends of the table. Leeds are currently in the relegation zone, two points adrift of safety with three games remaining, while Newcastle are hopeful of a top-four finish.

Newcastle have been in good form on the road, winning four of their last five away matches in the league, while Leeds have won only one of their last five games at home.

Leeds' new manager Sam Allardyce will be hoping to guide his team to a victory, having won more Premier League games against Newcastle than against any other team in his managerial career.

Leeds will be without Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams, and Stuart Dallas, while Liam Cooper is also sidelined but could return before the end of the season. Newcastle's Sean Longstaff is a major doubt for the match, while Jamaal Lascelles and Emil Krafth are both ruled out for the rest of the season.

It remains to be seen how Newcastle manager Eddie Howe will set up his attack, but Callum Wilson may get the nod down the middle, having scored eight league goals in as many games, including four in his last three away from home. Leeds' top scorer Rodrigo may be handed a start in attack, while Crysencio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto, and Jack Harrison will battle for a place on the flanks.

With both teams needing a win for different reasons, this match has the potential to be a thrilling encounter.

Southampton v Fulham

Southampton will host Fulham at St Mary's Stadium in a crucial match for both sides. Southampton will be relegated if they fail to get maximum points, while Fulham are hoping to consolidate their position in the top half of the table.

The Saints enter the match with a torrid 10-game winless run, including seven defeats, with their latest defeat coming against Nottingham Forest. A win is crucial for Southampton as they sit eight points adrift of safety with just three games remaining. Despite having the worst home record in the Premier League this season, Southampton has remarkably lost only one of their 31 home league meetings with Fulham and are unbeaten in each of their last 21 home encounters with the Cottagers since a 2-1 defeat back in October 1935.

Fulham, on the other hand, is in a comfortable position in the league table and on course to secure a top-half finish. With the return of their top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic from an eight-game suspension, Fulham will be looking to continue their impressive form this season. However, they have a poor away record at Southampton and have lost five of their last six top-flight matches on the road, including their last two without reply.

In terms of team news, Southampton's Armel Bella-Kotchap is unlikely to recover in time from his hamstring injury, while Romain Perraud, Mohammed Salisu, Juan Larios, and Valentino Livramento all remain sidelined. Fulham will be without injured duo Andreas Pereira and Tim Ream for the rest of the season, while Daniel James and Layvin Kurzawa are also recovering in the treatment room. However, they can welcome back Mitrovic to the starting XI.

Overall, this is an important game for both teams, with Southampton in dire need of three points to keep their hopes of staying in the Premier League alive. Fulham, on the other hand, will be looking to build on their recent win over Leicester and secure a top-half finish this season.

Chelsea v Nottingham Forest

Chelsea and Nottingham Forest will face off at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in a clash between two teams seeking back-to-back victories. A 1-1 draw was played out earlier this year at the City Ground, but both sides will be eager to claim all three points this time around.

After enduring a run of six successive defeats, Chelsea caretaker boss Frank Lampard finally tasted victory when his side beat Bournemouth 3-1 last weekend. Although Conor Gallagher's early opener was cancelled out by Matias Vina midway through the first half, two goals in the final eight minutes of the match from Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix helped Chelsea stop the rot and claim three much-needed points.

While the win helped Chelsea surpass the 40-point mark and avoid any relegation fears, they still sit 11th in the Premier League table and are six points behind 10th-placed Fulham with a game in hand. Moreover, Lampard's men have failed to win any of their last six games at Stamford Bridge, and only five teams have picked up fewer home points than them this season.

On the other hand, Chelsea have won their last six home matches against Nottingham Forest, albeit five of those in cup competitions. The Blues have also scored at least two goals on each of those occasions, which bodes well for them heading into this weekend's encounter.

Chelsea's left-back Ben Chilwell is the latest addition to the injury list, joining Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mason Mount and Armando Broja on the sidelines. Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to start at left-back, while Lampard is set to stick with a back four including Badiashile, Thiago Silva, and Trevoh Chalobah.

In midfield, Mateo Kovacic could return at the expense of either Gallagher or N'Golo Kante. Meanwhile, Felix, Sterling, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic will all be pushing to start on the flanks.

As for Nottingham Forest, Aurier is a doubt due to fitness issues, and Renan Lodi is also uncertain due to a knock. Dean Henderson, Chris Wood, Scott McKenna, Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards, Neco Williams, Jonjo Shelvey, Jack Colback, and Emmanuel Dennis remain sidelined. Gustavo Scarpa has resumed full training but is not yet ready to return.

If Aurier is unable to play, Joe Worrall could start at right-back, while Harry Toffolo is the likely candidate at left-back. Cheikhou Kouyate and Remo Freuler will push to start in centre-midfield, while Gibbs-White, Awoniyi, and Brennan Johnson are expected to lead the front three.

Overall, both teams will be eager to claim the three points, but Chelsea's recent record against Nottingham Forest and their attacking prowess could give them the edge in this encounter.

Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur will clash in what promises to be a fiercely-contested battle for a spot in the Europa Conference League. Both teams were on the losing and winning ends of 1-0 results, respectively, in their last matches.

Aston Villa, who are eighth in the Premier League table, are keen to bounce back after two consecutive losses and reignite their European charge. However, they face a challenging task against Tottenham, who are just six points behind Manchester United in the race for Champions League qualification.

Villa's recent form has been patchy, with a minor blip seeing them fail to fire in each of their last two games. They will be looking to rectify that when they return to Villa Park, where they have secured five straight wins without conceding a goal.

The Villans have scored in each of their last 13 games at Villa Park, and their recent home form has been impressive. They will be hoping to extend that record and take all three points from Tottenham to stay in the hunt for a European spot.

Tottenham, on the other hand, are on a nine-game scoring run in all tournaments, which will give them some confidence heading into the clash. However, their away form has been dismal, with no win in eight successive road matches since January.

Tottenham's chances will be boosted if Clement Lenglet is passed fit for the game, while Eric Dier could be forced to watch from the bench again. Meanwhile, Emerson Royal should continue in his fluid role on the right flank.

Villa have no fresh injury concerns and could see changes in their starting lineup, with Boubacar Kamara potentially being recalled. Ashley Young is also just 89 minutes away from bringing up 2,000 in the Premier League this season, which would see him become the oldest player to do so since Teddy Sheringham in 2003-04.

Overall, it promises to be an intriguing clash, with both teams desperate for a win to keep their European hopes alive.

Manchester United v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Manchester United will host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford for their upcoming Premier League clash. After securing their Premier League safety with a win against Aston Villa last weekend, Wolves will be looking to continue their recent good form. Meanwhile, Manchester United are hoping to bounce back from their recent defeat to West Ham United.

Man United's recent performances have been underwhelming, having lost two of their last six games in all competitions. However, they have been unbeaten at home for an impressive 27 games in all competitions, and have kept five successive Premier League clean sheets at Old Trafford, conceding just eight goals at home all season. Despite their recent struggles, they are still in a strong position to secure a third-placed finish and potentially win the FA Cup.

Wolves, on the other hand, have had a mixed season, with their Premier League status only recently being secured. They have only won twice on the road all season, and have gone winless in each of their last six away games. However, they have been solid defensively, having kept four clean sheets in their last four home games.

In terms of team news, Man United are expected to be without several key players due to injury, including Lisandro Martinez, Phil Jones, Tom Heaton, and Donny van de Beek. Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay could return in the next couple of weeks, but this game may come too soon for them. Diego Costa is expected to make his debut for Wolves, but Raul Jimenez is still out of favour.

In their last meeting, Wolves shocked Man United with a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford, but Man United responded with a 1-0 win at Molineux last December. This game is expected to be another low-scoring affair, with both teams likely to prioritise their defensive solidity. Despite their recent form, Man United will be confident in their ability to secure a win at home, while Wolves will be hoping to cause an upset and secure another valuable point towards their survival.

Crystal Palace v AFC Bournemouth

Bottom-half Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Bournemouth will face off in a crucial match at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with both sides looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats in their last outings.

Palace lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur, with Harry Kane's 209th top-flight goal separating the two sides. However, Roy Hodgson's side has already secured their Premier League safety, with 40 points and only two points worse off than Chelsea. Palace has taken seven points from their last three home games and has only lost one of their last eight games at Selhurst Park.

On the other hand, Bournemouth lost 3-1 to Chelsea, with Matias Vina scoring the Cherries' only goal. However, Bournemouth has won four of their last six games and is currently 14th in the table, within just one point of securing their spot in the Premier League for next season. Bournemouth has claimed successive victories over Leicester City, Tottenham, and Southampton on the road and could win four consecutive Premier League games away from home for the first time ever.

The last time these two sides met, Palace claimed a 2-0 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, with Jordan Ayew and Eberechi Eze scoring the goals. Palace's midfielder James McArthur missed the last game with a fresh hamstring issue and will need a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's game, while James Tomkins and Nathan Ferguson are also in the treatment room. Hodgson is unlikely to tinker too much with his lineup, as he was satisfied with their performance against Spurs.

Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore might be in with a chance of recovering from concussion to make the matchday squad this weekend, but Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas are no closer to returning. Marcus Tavernier's thigh injury could also rule him out until the end of the season, while Hamed Traore is also dealing with a contact injury to his foot and may not be back until Bournemouth's final meeting with Everton on May 28. Joe Rothwell was substituted in the defeat to Chelsea, and Lewis Cook may get a chance to start in midfield.

This game is crucial for both sides, with Palace aiming to maintain their impressive home form, while Bournemouth will be hoping to continue their excellent away form. Given Palace's impressive record against Bournemouth in recent years, they may have the edge in this game, but Bournemouth has shown they are capable of causing upsets on the road.

Everton v Manchester City

Everton will host Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday afternoon at Goodison Park, seeking to replicate their Bank Holiday Monday mauling of Brighton & Hove Albion. The Toffees stunned the footballing world with a 5-1 victory over Brighton, with Abdoulaye Doucoure scoring after just 34 seconds, and Dwight McNeil and an own goal from Jason Steele also contributing. Everton's winless run in the Premier League ended with their emphatic win over Brighton, and they will be hoping to carry that momentum into the game against Man City.

Despite their winless run, Everton have been scoring consistently in their recent matches, with only two of their last 10 games resulting in a failure to score. However, they have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight games and have gone winless in their last three home matches. Meanwhile, Man City will be looking to maintain their one-point lead over Arsenal in the Premier League with a win at Goodison Park.

Man City will be buoyed by their 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, although they were hit by a sucker punch from Vinicius Junior after dominating proceedings in the first half. Kevin De Bruyne's sizzling low shot restored parity for Man City, and they will be hoping to build on that result against Everton.

Man City have won 10 games in a row in the Premier League, with their only dropped points at home coming in their 1-1 draw against Everton on New Year's Eve. However, the champions have a five-game winning streak at Goodison Park since being stunned 4-0 in January 2017. Man City will be without Nathan Ake due to a thigh problem, but they have a strong squad and could make several changes with one eye on the Champions League.

Everton will be missing Seamus Coleman for the rest of the season, while Andros Townsend, Dele Alli, Ben Godfrey, and Ruben Vinagre are also sidelined with injuries. However, they sustained no fresh injury concerns after their win over Brighton and will be looking to build on that performance against Man City.

In conclusion, Everton will be hoping to carry their momentum from their win over Brighton into the game against Man City, while the champions will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League. With both teams having strong attacking players, this promises to be an exciting encounter at Goodison Park.

Brentford v West Ham United

West Ham United will travel to Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon, fresh from their Europa Conference League semi-final victory over AZ Alkmaar. Despite taking a first-leg advantage in the European competition, the Hammers are not yet mathematically safe from relegation, sitting 15th in the Premier League table with three games remaining.

Brentford, on the other hand, are in ninth place, having won just two of their last six home games. Despite this, they have only lost to Arsenal and Newcastle United at home this season, and have scored and conceded in each of their last six Premier League fixtures.

In their last game against Liverpool, Brentford suffered a 1-0 defeat, with their European hopes dwindling once again. The hosts' back-to-back victories over Chelsea and Nottingham Forest had left their fellow continental chasers looking over their shoulders, but they now sit five points below Brighton & Hove Albion, having played two games more.

Brentford's left-back Rico Henry appeared to sustain a hand injury in their last game, but he is expected to be available for this London derby. However, Keane Lewis-Potter, Christian Norgaard, Thomas Strakosha, and Pontus Jansson are all out with injuries.

West Ham's Michail Antonio, who scored the winner against AZ Alkmaar, may be rested ahead of the second leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final. Vladimir Coufal and Gianluca Scamacca are definite absentees, and Angelo Ogbonna is fighting to recover from illness in time for the weekend.

West Ham have lost their last two away games against Crystal Palace and Manchester City, and have also been beaten in all three of their Premier League matches against Brentford. However, they did win their FA Cup third-round tie against Brentford earlier this season.

David Moyes may consider making changes to his starting XI for this game, with the likes of Emerson Palmieri, Manuel Lanzini, Pablo Fornals, and Danny Ings pushing for recalls to the team. Lukasz Fabianski will also come back in for Alphonse Areola in goal.

With West Ham still not safe from relegation, they will be looking to secure a crucial win against Brentford on Sunday. However, Brentford will be hoping to take advantage of West Ham's European fatigue and continue their push for a top-half finish in their second Premier League season.

Arsenal v Brighton and Hove Albion

Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion will face off in a Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The two teams experienced contrasting results in the previous Bank Holiday gameweek, with Arsenal defeating Newcastle United 2-0, while Brighton suffered a humiliating 5-1 loss to Everton.

For Arsenal, the victory over Newcastle ensured a top-two finish, but they still trail league leaders Manchester City by one point. The Gunners are on a 17-game scoring streak in all competitions and have been particularly potent in their last four home games, scoring 14 goals. However, their home form has been inconsistent this season, and they have struggled to keep clean sheets.

Brighton, on the other hand, had been in good form before their heavy defeat to Everton, winning their previous two matches against Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Despite sitting in seventh place in the league table, the Seagulls have struggled for consistency on the road, winning just two of their last seven away matches in the top flight.

Arsenal will be without Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny, who are both out for the season with knee injuries, as well as William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Meanwhile, Brighton has a number of absentees due to injury, including Jeremy Sarmiento, Tariq Lamptey, Joel Veltman, Adam Lallana, and Jakub Moder.

The Gunners will look to continue their strong form at home and solidify their position near the top of the table, while Brighton will hope to bounce back from their heavy defeat to Everton and keep their hopes of European qualification alive. With both teams needing points for different reasons, Sunday's match promises to be an intriguing encounter.

Leicester City v Liverpool

The stage is set for a crucial Premier League fixture as Leicester City host Liverpool on Monday. With just a few games remaining, both teams are in a race against time to improve their standings before the season ends.

Leicester City have had a difficult season, with just one win in 13 games leaving them in the relegation zone. Their hopes of survival rest on securing a positive result against Liverpool, who themselves are fighting to finish in the top four.

The Reds have been in excellent form, winning six straight games and pushing themselves into the race for a Champions League spot. However, they cannot afford to drop points against Leicester, as both Newcastle and Manchester United have games in hand and could leapfrog them in the table.

Leicester's Kelechi Iheanacho is a key player for the Foxes, and they will be hoping that he can recover from his groin injury to make an impact in the game. The absence of Jannik Vestergaard, Ryan Bertrand and James Justin will be felt by the home side, but Wilfried Ndidi could return to the starting lineup to provide some stability at the back.

Liverpool, on the other hand, will be boosted by the potential return of Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, although they will be without Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic. Luis Diaz may get the nod over the out-of-form Darwin Nunez on the left flank.

The Foxes have won their last two home games against Liverpool, which will give them confidence heading into the game. However, they will need to be at their best to overcome a Liverpool side that has been in excellent form recently.

Overall, this promises to be an exciting encounter, with both teams desperate for a positive result. Leicester will be fighting for their Premier League survival, while Liverpool will be looking to maintain their push for a top-four finish.
