Chisora Form

Dereck Chisora comes into this fight off the back of three losses in a row, two of which were against the New Zealander Joseph Parker where Chisora lost via SD and unanimous decision (UD).

The third fight was against Oleksandr Uysk which was also lost via UD. Chisora is a warrior hence his nickname being “War” and although he has lost 12 fights, War has only been knocked out three times which were against David Haye (TKO), Tyson Fury (retired) and Dillian Whyte (KO), so he holds some value here.

Chisora’s record currently stands at W32-L12, and 23 of his wins were won by KO/TKO which shows the knockout power that he possesses. Standing at 6ft11/2 and has a reach of 74 inches compared to his opponent who is 6ft41/2 and has a reach of 791/2 inches, it's obvious to see that Pulev is going to try and control the fight with his superior height and reach whereas Chisora will be looking for his trademark deadly knockout blow.

Pulev Form

Kubrat “The Cobra” Pulev’s record is superior to that of his opponent with only two blemishes to his name, W29-L2. The losses in question were against two of the greats of Heavyweight boxing in Wladimir Klitschko (2014) and most recently Anthony Joshua (2020).

He succumbed to the Ukrainian in the fifth round and was eventually knocked out in the ninth against Joshua after getting knocked down twice in the same round. This was also the first and only time he has fought in the UK which will definitely make a difference on Saturday with Chisora being the home favourite.

Pulev BY Decision Or Technical Decision

Pulev is the odds-on favourite to win this bout and we think the most likely outcome is Pulev by decision or technical decision. This is because of Pulev only losing two fights in his 31 bout career and the fact that Chisora has lost his last three fights via this method.

The Cobra has also won four out of his last six fights via this method, too. However, it must be said that both of these men have the power to knock each other out with one punch as is the nature of Heavyweight boxing.

PULEV BY DECISION OR TECHNICAL DECISION
