Book of Fate gives us the same 5x3 reels and 10 paylines as everyone else. The rewards go much higher than you’d expect, even up to 50,000x the stake (the typical Book-style slot pays 5,000x). It’s still highly volatile; that much remains the same, and the RTP is at an acceptable level of 96%. The features it adds range from the wild/scatter Book symbols to free spins that have special symbols and random feature spins with up to 10x multipliers.

The lower-paying symbols consist of the classic royals: 10, J, Q, K, and A. A full line of 5 with one of these symbols will pay 8x-12x the bet. The higher-paying symbols include historical Egyptian figures and an Explorer. Five-of-a-kind with one of these will net you a win of 60x-400x the bet. Like in most book games, the Book symbol acts as both a Wild and a Scatter, substituting for all other symbols while also being the key to trigger the Free Spins.

If you land three or more, the scatter function will trigger the free spins bonus round. Players will receive eight free spins but before the bonus starts, a symbol will be chosen at random to become expanding. The special symbol will be golden and will expand to fill the whole reel if a win is possible.  

The special symbol won't need to land along the regular paylines to trigger a win; during the free spins round, it can land anywhere on the board and still count. You could also receive random multipliers too for any win, including the special symbol. These multipliers increase up to a potential x10, which is how it's possible to win the top payout of x50,000.
