The backdrop is simple yet sophisticated with beautiful symbols set within an Oriental golden gate with jade coloured tiles. The standard symbols are the stylised golden playing cards followed by the higher paying Red Lantern, Lotus Flower, Dragon, Gate and a Rooster. The Wild Koi Carp symbol appears as a large colossal Wild in blocks of 2x2 and appear either on reels 1 and 2, 4 and 5 or all of them respectively (1, 2 and 4, 5). Three Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels trigger the Magical Lamps Bonus.
