Pharaoh's Gaze DoubleMax has 5 reels, 3 rows, 20 fixed paylines, and a maximum gain of 15,000x. The slot machine awards successful combinations on adjacent reels from left to right, beginning at the far left of the board. You may believe that the game's mechanics are traditional. Pharaoh's Gaze DoubleMax is essentially a cascading (dropdown) slot. With dropdown (or cascading) mechanics, symbols on winning lines vanish, making room for new symbols to come down. 

Pharaoh's Gaze DoubleMax employs a Dropdown system in which winning symbols are eliminated from the board to make room for symbols remaining on the reel strips to drop down and occupy the empty spaces. Each time a Dropdown win occurs, a wild symbol is inserted in one of the winning cells prior to the refilling of the other cells. In this manner, consecutive victories can result from a single spin until no more wins are possible.

Each Dropdown victory increases the win multiplier by two. After a basic game spin in which no additional Dropdowns appear, the multiplier is reset.

Five Pharaoh figures are displayed above the reels, and at random, symbols with miniature Pharaoh Gems may appear. The Pharaoh collects these gems while seated above them. When a Pharaoh has collected three Pharaoh Gems, the reel is highlighted for the next three consecutive rotations or cascades. Active Pharaohs can position between one and three wilds on their reel with every spin or drop. Pharaoh Gems cannot appear on reels that are active.

If three or more scatter symbols appear in the basic game, seven free spins are awarded. Gems that have been collected are carried over, and at the beginning of each round, six Pharoah Gems are allocated at random to empty collection slots. The multiplier does not reset during free spins until the bonus round has concluded.
