Milkshake XXXtreme awards prizes via a scatter pays mechanism. Each turn drops 36 symbols onto the grid, and players receive a payout if at least 8 matching symbols land anywhere in view, regardless of position or proximity. In addition, the Avalanche feature is activated whenever a scatter success occurs. It removes the successful symbols from the panel and replaces them with new or existing symbols. As usual, Avalanches only end when no new victories are created. Low-paying symbols include spades, clubs, diamonds, and hearts, whereas high-paying symbols include blue, green, orange, and red ice-creams. Wilds appear at various points and can substitute for any pay symbol.

A Milkshake glass slides next to the reels with each turn. Each Milkshake can have a red, green, orange, or blue hue, a multiplier between x2 and x100, or a starting point between 2 and 12. When wins are formed, the matching winning symbols are added to the Milkshake, enhancing its point value by the number of symbols added. When a milkshake reaches 20 points, two random milkshakes appear alongside the grid, with a maximum of four milkshakes visible at once. Full Milkshake multipliers are used to boost winnings at the conclusion of a spin.

The Booster feature may unpredictably activate at the beginning of a new spin or after the Avalanche has been triggered, applying a multiplier or Colour Booster to any of the Milkshakes on the grid.

The Multiplier Booster replaces a Milkshake Multiplier with a multiplier with a higher value, ranging from x4 to x100, while maintaining the same number of points.

The Colour Booster transforms any Milkshake into a Rainbow Milkshake while maintaining the same Multiplier and total number of points. Rainbow Milkshakes awards points regardless of the colour of scatter victories.

Here is where XXXtreme comes into action, permitting players to increase their wager in exchange for spin enhancements. There are two alternatives:

• A spin with two Milkshakes to fill and a guaranteed wild costs 10 times the basic wager.
• A spin with four Milkshakes to complete and two guaranteed wilds costs 95 times the base wager.
