Play Fruit Duel

Fruity games are not a novel concept from this developer, but closer inspection reveals that Hacksaw has made multiple departures from their tried-and-true "formula" in Fruit Duel. The developer is not well-known for their work with the traditional 3x3 grid, yet this game still functions.

With its cartoonish appearance and vibrant colours, this is one of their most straightforward releases to date in terms of design. In this release, the patented DuelReels feature—which has been featured in previous iterations in various forms—offers you up to x100 multiplier wild reels. In the bonus round, you get more of the same, and Hacksaw's creative additions are admirable.

You can land Wilds on all three reels, and the fruit symbols pay you between 0.1 and 5 times your wager for three-of-a-kind winnings. When pay symbols are needed to help complete wins, wild symbols fill in for them. If wilds make a winning combination on their own, they pay the same as the best strawberry symbol.

When a VS sign appears anywhere in view, the DuelReels feature is activated, and the reel that contains the VS symbol turns into a wild reel in the Fruit Duel slots. The symbols will duel to decide which of the two multipliers should be added to the wild if the top and bottom symbols are given multipliers. The multiplier values that can be obtained for the VS symbol are x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x15, x20, x25, x50, x75, and x100. The wild reel is only created if a win results from this.

When three scatters that award 10 free spins come into view, the Bonus Round is triggered. Although your odds of landing VS symbols are increased, the feature functions similarly to the regular game. Moreover, using the dual feature to obtain larger multipliers is simpler.
