The lower-paying symbols include 10, J, Q, K, A, and a Sphinx. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 5x-10x the bet. The higher-paying symbols consist of the three buddies; Maggie, Sandra, and Sam. A full line of 5 with one of these will pay 25x-500x the bet. Like in most Book games, the books act as both a Wild symbol and a Scatter symbol. 

Before your feature begins, the game will randomly select one or more symbols to act as the expanding symbols for the duration of the bonus round. A three-scatter trigger will award just one expanding symbol, with one more expanding symbol being granted for each additional scatter.
