Transylvania Night of Blood is played on a six-column grid with four rows of symbols and 4,096 possible winning combinations. When identical symbols appear on consecutive reels from left to right, a payout is awarded. Upon expanding the game further, we discover ten regular paying symbols. The first five symbols are low-paying 10-A card icons with a jagged font, paying between 0.8 and 2.5 times the wager for a five-of-a-kind gain. While the reels are rotating, between two and ten Vampire Bites may appear on the middle four reels. In these positions, symbols are transformed into untamed symbols. Wilds substitute for all other symbols and count as the symbol that forms the longest single-way winning combination.

In addition, 2 to 10 positions on any of the reels may be scratched while they are rotating. These positions have a random multiplier of x2 to x10 applied to the symbols that appear there. These symbols will be tallied as the number of symbols displayed by the multiplier when calculating wins. Note that these two modifiers cannot activate simultaneously outside of the Battle Spins bonus round.

The Vampire Spins symbol is a 1x4 scatter that appears on reels 1 and 5. When two of these symbols appear, seven free Vampire Spins are awarded, during which the Vampire Bite feature occurs more frequently.

The Werewolf Spins symbol also appears as a 1x4 scatter on the first and fifth reels. Two of them grant seven free Werewolf Spins during which the Werewolf Scratch feature occurs more frequently.

The simultaneous appearance of the Vampire Spins scatter and the Werewolf Spins scatter awards seven free Battle Spins. During this round, both Vampire Bites and Werewolf Scratches occur more frequently and can now activate simultaneously. Since scatter symbols do not appear in any of the three bonus phases, free spins cannot be retriggered.
