Manny Pacquiao is ‘one punch away’ from serious injury, ‘he needs to put a stop to it’
“Pacquiao doesn't stand the chance at all against any of the other champions if he wins. I think he just then needs to probably call it a day again after the fight.
“He can say he came back and won it, but then gave it up again and gave someone else a chance to fight for it. That'd be nice.
“He’s always got one punch away from getting hurt. I think it's just a bit silly doing that [continuing to fight]. Look, financially he's secure, and he’s always one punch away from getting hurt, and you're not going to recover as quickly as normal.
“I think he needs to just really put a stop to it really. Or maybe if he doesn't want to keep on fighting, then needs to fight on the same level as him.”

“Then you've got your whole team; your dietitian, your training camp, coaches, fees - what are you left with after that? So you make 10 million, for example.
“Training camp costs you about a million, then tax at 30% in America. That's four million there. And then maybe half a million for sanctioning fees and stuff like that.
“So Canelo would be left with like 5.5 million in America, whereas in the UK he's going to be left with like 3.5 million.”

“He’s fighting Crawford now, and watching his last couple of fights, he gets caught more. His feet are slow—not as fast as they used to be. His punches are slow, but he still has the power. He can hurt you.
“Now, with Crawford going into that, Crawford, in my opinion, is the fresher. He’s not had that many wars compared to Canelo. But Crawford has also had his last couple of fights go the distance.
“But look, it’s a good one. I got a leaning—I think Crawford could pull this off. He’s got good boxing skills. He’s younger. He’s got more in the tank compared to what Canelo has in the tank.
“Canelo—you can see it. I think half his mind is out of boxing now. He’s just doing it for the big paydays, for where he can make the most. And he’s always going to be remembered, regardless of if he loses this fight against Crawford.”
Crawford will be remembered like Mayweather if he wins
“Canelo will always be remembered as a great.
“But with Crawford, that would elevate him—to be someone in the same line as Mayweather, Sugar Ray Leonard. He’d be up there as one of the greats as well. If he wins he also become pound for pound number one.”

“It was that hard that I didn't feel it—it knocked me out. Which is probably better, to be hit with that one big shot and be knocked out, than being hit with numerous shots that can cause you damage after your career. It has to be the hardest punch I’ve ever taken in a fight.
“He feinted to the body and hit me over the top with that right hand. He caught me a couple of rounds earlier with a left hook—and that was after a feint as well. Because I was only responding to Canelo after throwing shots at him, or him throwing one shot and me coming back. He throws a lot of single shots, but when he feinted—that’s when he caught me a couple of times and knocked me out with that shot.
“It was a good game plan from his team. The first couple of rounds—first two rounds—were quite easy. But that’s when he started bringing in the feints, and that caused a few problems. Also, by feinting, it stopped my feet. A feint stops your feet.”

“100% I'd like to offer Paddy Pimblett some boxing advice. I live in Dubai. I know he comes to Dubai here and there, if he ever needs any advice on the boxing aside, definitely, we’ll do some pad work with him, help him out on that as well. Show him some stuff.
“I like doing stuff like that, it's all about helping and being there, helping each other and that makes me happy, when I know that I've gone and helped someone, especially in a fighting sport, because they've got a life on the line.
“They're putting their life on the line and if you are there to help them in such a big fight like that, yeah, it would make me happy. It makes me happy, and I'll do that for free as well.”

“There's no one touching him, honestly, one of the best, and put him in a room with anyone. He's knocking them out. He's cleaning him out. He'svery dangerous.
