Stoke casino plays it for laughs

A Stoke casino will host a top Peter Kay tribute act on Friday 19 June as it looks to build on its reputation as an all-round entertainment venue.

Comedian Lee Lard will celebrate the Bolton funny man’s style at the Genting Club in Etruria Road, Hanley. The show has proved popular with audiences around the UK.

Lee developed the act after appearing with Peter Kay in the 2005 Comic Relief video (Is this the way to) Amarillo.

Gary Parson, marketing advocate at the Genting Club, said: “Our live shows in the restaurant are going very well and we expect this one to be a big hit too. People want to enjoy a night out in comfortable surroundings where they can have a meal and socialise.

“In addition to our full range of casino games we are becoming known for our entertainment and the variety of performers we host.”

It costs £28.95 for the Lee Lard show and a three course meal; for bookings call 01782 213499.
