Denise strikes gold at Brighton casino relaunch
Hove resident, Denise Harris, is celebrating having scooped £1,000 worth of prize money at the launch party of the new look Genting Casino Brighton.
The Preston Street casino has just received a £600,000 makeover and Denise, 52, won the ultimate Golden Envelope prize draw, taking home £1,000 in Virgin Experience Vouchers.
Denise who has been a regular at the casino with husband Rob for five years and is still deciding how to spend her vouchers, said: “My daughter Amanda and I went along to the VIP opening night and couldn’t believe our luck! Not only did I win the prize draw but we both had a successful night on the tables.
“I don’t drink or smoke, but take great delight from dressing up and socialising with friends at the casino. The new look is wonderful, having been brought bang up to date and beautifully decorated – you certainly feel very special.”
Genting Casino Brighton employs over 30 part-time and full-time staff and the makeover has transformed the casino into a boutique style, contemporary destination, complete with new entrance and reception area and the addition of a stylish bar serving premium drinks and cocktails.
The major refurbishment scheme also includes a complete redecoration of the venue, new toilets, audio visual equipment and enhanced lighting.
