Competitors Set To Wow At Genting’s Got Talent Final
Genting Club Westcliff is preparing to host its 10th annual Genting’s Got Talent Final, which takes place at the casino on Wednesday 10 August.
The final will see performances from 5 local talented acts including singers, musicians and even a comedy psychic, who will all take to the stage for their chance to be crowned the 2016 champion of Genting’s Got Talent, and win £500 alongside lifting the winner’s trophy.
Having already impressed judges during the heats, which were conducted over the past three months, the finalists will now have to perform in front of a tough judging panel including General Manager for Genting Club Westcliff, Simon Woodford and a member of the management team from Syco record label A&R.
Commenting on the event General Manager, Simon said: “Genting’s Got Talent serves as a fantastic showcase of local talent. Every year we are always amazed at the breadth and quality of acts who enter and this, our 10th anniversary year, is no different.
“We look forward to welcoming all of our finalists back to the stage and are excited to see their performances on the night. I would like to thank everyone who has entered for sharing their talents with us and I wish all of the competitors the very best of luck.”
For anyone wishing to watch the final, entry to the Genting Club Westcliff on The Western Esplanade is free, with the first act taking to the stage at 8pm.
Simon concludes: “It is set to be a great show and with previous contestants going on to compete in high-profile, national talent shows such as The Voice, you never know, we might just find the UK’s next big thing.”
