This is really little more than a showdown for second place and much may depend on who is really the more determined outfit.
Man City have a trip to Real Madrid up next, a game with extra motivation following their European ban for the next two seasons, while the Foxes have stuttered in 2020 so far even if they remain dangerous foes.

Indeed, Brendan Rodgers has led his charges to stalemates with Chelsea and Wolves in their last two outings. All three of their recent defeats have come against bottom-half sides (Southampton and Burnley, as well as Villa in the League Cup), so it’ll be interesting to see how they get on here.
However, 3-1 and 4-0 defeats to City and Liverpool respectively either side of Christmas suggest they could experience problems.
The previous meeting between these two sides did however come at the Etihad, and back at the King Power the Foxes hold a highly respectable W2-D3-L1 record against the Citizens since 2015/16.
Jamie Vardy has bagged four goals and an assist in his last five appearances here against City, so Rodgers will hope the former England international can end his current drought.
Under 2.5 Goals
City arrive at this fixture having failed to score in recent defeats to Man Utd in the League Cup and Spurs, and with their bigger goal hauls coming against the weaker outfits, this won’t necessarily be the highest-scoring affair.
Five of seven head-to-heads at the King Power since Leicester’s promotion have seen fewer than three goals across all competitions, though the hosts do have a problem in central defensive midfield.
James Maddison and Youri Tielemans are fine players, but Daniel Amartey and Wilfried Ndidi are doubtful, while Nampalys Mendy is injured and Hamza Choudhury is now suspended.
However, Rodgers does still have Dennis Praet, with the option to move Tielemans deeper, so this isn’t a full-blown crisis with Amartey, Ndidi and Choudhury back in action soon.
With that in mind, the hosts appear a big price to get something from this game. Pep Guardiola also has to make do without the injured Raheem Sterling, even if the 25-year-old hasn’t been amongst the goals recently, but nonetheless he’s remained an integral player for them this term.
Harvey Barnes To Score Anytime
Although we don’t expect this to be goal-laden, given Vardy is running a bit dry at the moment there may be some value to be had from elsewhere within the Foxes’ ranks and it’s Harvey Barnes that catches the eye.
The winger has come into some form with three goals and an assist from Leicester’s last four league outings, while he also has a goal and an assist against Wigan and Villa respectively in the cup games in which he’s featured during 2020 so far.
