India v England Betting Tips – 3rd Test

After a landslide victory for India in the second test, the series is finely poised at 1-1 with just two tests left to play. With the opening half of the series being played in Chennai, we now move over to the largest stadium in world cricket in Ahmedabad to close out the series. This will be just the second international day-night test to be played on Indian soil after they hosted Bangladesh back in 2019, so it’s safe to say the hosts aren’t used to playing pink ball cricket, and the conditions are certainly going to have a major impact on the outcome of this game. Tipsters Form Labs guide you to where the value might lie with their betting tips for the game.

Pace Could Be The Key

While the spin bowlers have been instrumental in this series so far, it’s time for pace to make the headlines if history is anything to go off.

That one day-night test against Bangladesh saw India’s pacers take all 20 of their wickets, and we’d expect something similar here.

India’s only other day-night test came in Adelaide, where they were bowled out for their lowest ever total of 36, though conditions were vastly different in Australia and they won’t be exposed to that same Kookaburra ball here.

India To Beat England

Jimmy Anderson and Jofra Archer will likely come back into the side here to utilise the effect of swing on this wicket, while Jasprit Bumrah will probably come in to replace Kuldeep Yadav here.

The momentum is certainly with the hosts, and the conditions look to be in their favour too as stamina will certainly come into play here.

Both teams will be fighting tooth and nail for the win with a place in the World Test Championship Fina on the cards, though we think India will take that big step toward it here.

Ishant Sharma Top Indian Wicket Taker

Man of the Match in that test just over a year ago against Bangladesh was Ishant Sharma. The Indian pace bowler was electric with the pink ball, taking nine wickets in total. He’s proven he’s still one of the best in world cricket and his experience from that game could go a long way for the hosts here, so he’s a great price to get behind to be his side’s top wicket taker.

India To Beat England At 8/15

India top wicket taker – Ishant Sharma At 7/2
